Presenting my work on the 1965 Shelby Cobra, a model sourced from free3d.com and meticulously refined in Autodesk Maya. Extensive efforts were dedicated to the enhancement of shading, texturing, and rendering aspects. Notably, the model required substantial attention to cleaning mesh manifold parts and executing UV unwrapping.
The approach to shading involved a procedural workflow, while Substance 3D Painter was utilized for texturing specific components of the car. The procedural methodology allowed for a systematic and efficient execution of shading techniques. In addressing challenges, the cleanup of mesh manifold parts and UV unwrapping were pivotal for achieving optimal results.
For the final stages of lighting and rendering, the project relied on Arnold as the chosen renderer. This comprehensive workflow demonstrates a commitment to refining every detail of the 1965 Shelby Cobra, resulting in a visually stunning representation.
The main challenge encountered during this project arose at the rendering stage, where certain areas exhibited blurriness due to low samples and render settings. Given limitations with my system's capabilities, adjustments to render settings and light values were necessary for optimal outcomes.
